The Custom Design FS 104 Signature XL speaker stand is similar to the Custom Design FS 104 Signature but available with larger top bases of 190mm x 240mm, 160mm x 260mm and a 180mm x 280mm version.

A very high degree of rigidity is attained having four 1" satellite support columns and single 3" (76mm) ERW BS EN 10305-3 central column. This 3" central column can be easily mass loaded with Custom Design specially selected Inert Filler and the amount of filler used governs the bass performance so it can be fine tuned to suit your particular speakers.

In the FS 104 Speaker Stand series, the 4mm thick top and bottom "plates" are Laser precision cut into an "H" shape rather than the usual rectangular plate so there is similar amount of material to an open frame design. Three different plate sizes are available to better position the light-weight satellite posts closer to the corners of different sized loudspeaker cabinets and custom plates can be specially ordered. The top plate is fabricated from resonance energy absorbing inert Acoustic Steel™, while similarly cut bottom plate is made from oiled and pickled mild steel.
