We are looking for an experienced home audio sales person to work full-time in our audio shop located in Mile End area of Montreal.
Art and Sound is an independent hi-fi audio store specializing in quality turntables, amplifiers, speakers, headphones and streaming products.
The Position
- Help customers choose audio equipment based on their needs, budget and existing system.
- Demonstrate products and explain differences clearly and practically.
- Recommend components and system upgrades.
- Set up and maintain showroom equipment and displays.
- Handle customer orders and follow up with clients.
- Help with the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Available to work some weekend days is a must.
What We Are Looking For
- Fluency in French and English is required.
- Good knowledge of hi-fi equipment and audio brands.
- Retail sales experience in home audio.
- Comfortable discussing turntables, amplifiers, speakers, headphones, DACs and streaming products.
- Friendly and professional with both experienced audiophiles and people new to hi-fi.
- Basic knowledge of Wi-Fi, networks and music streaming.
- Reliable, organized and comfortable working as part of a small team.
Nice To Have
- Experience setting up turntables and cartridges
- Graphic Arts and Social media marketing skills.
