Acoustic Energy speakers are back in Canada ! This week we sat down to listen to the AE309 the floorstanding model in the 300 series. We played the AE 309 speakers with the Exposure 3010D2S Integrated Amplifier and the Cambridge Audio CXN Streamer.
Reviewed by WHATHIFI as one of the best speakers of 2019, the AE 309 are living up to their ranking. The AE 309 speakers offer an amazing stereo imaging with a good detail resolution across frequencies.
The speakers have a smooth and sophisticated bass that extends perfectly into an open and detailed midband which allows for a wider and deeper sound.
As for the look, the AE309 have a slim-line designed cabinet that comes in a beautiful gloss white or gloss black finish or a natural real walnut wood veneer.
